Fire rated glazed screens in Taunton

Fire-Rated Screens & Fanlights for Taunton buildings

We cover Taunton and nearby Bridgwater for fire rated glazed screens, with surveys booked around your building's access and occupancy. Each door is quoted individually, so you can see what every opening costs and why.

Taunton is about 40 miles from Bath. Wherever your building is in TA1, we arrange survey and fitting dates around access and occupancy.

Which rules apply in Taunton?

Because Taunton is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.

Fire rated glazed screens in Taunton: questions

Do you cover Taunton?

Yes. We survey, supply and fit fire rated glazed screens throughout Taunton and the rest of Somerset, including TA1 and nearby Bridgwater.

Can you work around tenants or staff in Taunton?

Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.

What does a Taunton quote include?

Survey, certified doorset, ironmongery, installation, removal of old doors and a handover pack. VAT is added at the standard rate.

Can screens be very large?

Size limits depend on the screen system's evidence. Larger screens may need intermediate mullions or transoms.
