Our Taunton supply and fit service
We fit fire-rated riser and service cupboard doors in Taunton and the rest of Somerset. The process is simple: we survey and measure each opening, propose a certified doorset for it, and give you a fixed price. Fitting is booked once the doorsets are made, usually with no door left out of action overnight.
Our Somerset coverage includes Taunton and its neighbours Bridgwater, Burnham-on-Sea and Tiverton; tell us your postcode and preferred dates and we'll confirm a survey slot.
Which rules apply in Taunton?
Because Taunton is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
What do riser cupboard fire doors cost in Taunton?
Our guide price for riser cupboard fire doors in Taunton is £550 to £950 per single doorset including fitting, ex VAT. Non-standard sizes, veneers, vision panels and access control push towards the top of the range.
We show each door's price separately, so if budget is tight you can phase the work and start with the doors your fire risk assessment prioritises.
