Fire rated glazed screens in Hamilton: how we work
Looking for fire rated glazed screens in Hamilton? Our supply and fit service covers ML3 and the surrounding area, including Motherwell and Wishaw. We quote complete doorsets — leaf, frame, seals, hinges and closer — because that is what the fire certification actually covers.
Hamilton is about 6 miles from East Kilbride; we cover both, along with Motherwell, Wishaw and East Kilbride.
Which rules apply in Hamilton?
Scotland has its own system: new and replacement fire doors in Hamilton are designed to the Building (Scotland) Regulations 2004 and the Technical Handbooks (Section 2, Fire). For non-domestic premises, the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005 and the Fire Safety (Scotland) Regulations 2006 place duties on whoever controls the building.
What do fire rated glazed screens cost in Hamilton?
Our guide for fire rated glazed screens is £1,400–£4,500 per screen fitted, ex VAT. Quotes for Hamilton are fixed once we've measured, and include removing and disposing of old doors where they're being replaced.
The biggest price drivers are leaf size, glazing, finish and ironmongery; upper floors without lifts and restricted parking can also affect fitting cost.
