Certified fire rated glazed screens for Carshalton

Regulations for fire rated glazed screens in Greater London
In Carshalton, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
Guide prices in Carshalton
Budget around £1,400 to £4,500 per screen for fire rated glazed screens supplied and fitted in Carshalton, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
Central and inner London work can cost a little more where parking, loading restrictions or out-of-hours access apply; we show any access costs as a separate line.
Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.
Buildings that need fire rated glazed screens
Reception and lobby screens and corridor borrowed lights are among the most common settings for fire rated glazed screens, in Carshalton as elsewhere.
London has the UK's largest concentration of purpose-built flats and high-rise residential blocks, so flat entrance doors, communal corridor doors and regulation 10 checks drive much of the demand.
