Regulations for fire rated glazed screens in Gloucestershire
Because Stroud is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.

Your questions answered
Is the survey in Stroud free?
Yes. We measure and schedule your doors at no cost and send a fixed, itemised quote.
Can you work around tenants or staff in Stroud?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
Will I get certificates for the doors fitted in Stroud?
Every doorset is listed in your handover pack with the manufacturer's certificate reference, plus an installation record and photos.
Steel or timber screens?
Both are available. Timber matches timber doorsets; steel suits slim sightlines and higher ratings.
