What the law says in Edinburgh
Fire doors in Edinburgh follow Scottish building standards for new work, with the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005 covering duties in workplaces and other non-domestic premises. Shared residential buildings may also be covered by licensing conditions, for example for HMOs.
What do fire rated glazed screens cost in Edinburgh?
Guide prices for fire rated glazed screens in Edinburgh run from about £1,400 to £4,500 per screen, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.
