Fire rated glazed screens in Houghton-le-Spring: questions
Do you work for landlords and managing agents in Houghton-le-Spring?
Yes. We can schedule doors flat by flat, send quotes per property and invoice the managing agent or freeholder.
Which rules do fire rated glazed screens in Houghton-le-Spring need to meet?
They are specified to Approved Document B (England) and your fire risk assessment or fire strategy. We confirm the rating of each door at survey.
Can you work around tenants or staff in Houghton-le-Spring?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
Can screens be very large?
Size limits depend on the screen system's evidence. Larger screens may need intermediate mullions or transoms.
