What the law says in Beckenham
In Beckenham, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
Guide prices in Beckenham
Our guide for fire exit doors is £1,200–£2,200 per single doorset fitted, ex VAT. Quotes for Beckenham are fixed once we've measured, and include removing and disposing of old doors where they're being replaced.
Central and inner London work can cost a little more where parking, loading restrictions or out-of-hours access apply; we show any access costs as a separate line.
Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.
