Our York supply and fit service
We fit fire door supply and fit in York and the rest of North Yorkshire. The process is simple: we survey and measure each opening, propose a certified doorset for it, and give you a fixed price. Fitting is booked once the doorsets are made, usually with no door left out of action overnight.
Surveys in York are booked around your access needs, and we cover the wider North Yorkshire area too.
Regulations for fire door installation in North Yorkshire
In York, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
