Which rules apply in Altrincham?
In Altrincham, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
FD60 fire doors prices in Altrincham
Budget around £1,050 to £1,650 per single doorset for FD60 fire doors supplied and fitted in Altrincham, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
The biggest price drivers are leaf size, glazing, finish and ironmongery; upper floors without lifts and restricted parking can also affect fitting cost.
