FD30S Smoke Control Doorsets for Altrincham buildings
For landlords, managing agents, businesses and homeowners in Altrincham, we provide FD30S smoke control doorsets for flats, stairs and corridors with one fixed quote. A free survey comes first, then a door-by-door schedule, then installation to the manufacturer's instructions and a handover pack for your records.
Altrincham is about 8 miles from Manchester. Wherever your building is in WA14, we arrange survey and fitting dates around access and occupancy.
Fire door rules in Altrincham
Because Altrincham is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
FD30S fire doors prices in Altrincham
Budget around £800 to £1,250 per single doorset for FD30S fire doors supplied and fitted in Altrincham, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
We show each door's price separately, so if budget is tight you can phase the work and start with the doors your fire risk assessment prioritises.
Where FD30S fire doors are needed
Integral garage doors and lobby doors in blocks of flats are among the most common settings for FD30S fire doors, in Altrincham as elsewhere.
