Getting FD60 fire doors fitted in Chesham
Need FD60 fire doors in Chesham? We supply and fit complete certified doorsets across Buckinghamshire, starting with a free measure survey in and around HP5. Every quote lists each door, its rating and the manufacturer's certificate reference, so you know exactly what is going in before anything is ordered.
Where possible we combine Chesham surveys with other visits in Buckinghamshire, such as Amersham and Berkhamsted, which helps keep survey dates flexible.
Regulations for FD60 fire doors in Buckinghamshire
Fire doors in Chesham sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.
