Getting FD30S fire doors fitted in Crowborough
Getting FD30S fire doors right in Crowborough means choosing a certified doorset for each opening and fitting it exactly as tested. That's the whole service: survey, schedule, certified doorset, careful installation and the paperwork to prove it.
Where possible we combine Crowborough surveys with other visits in East Sussex, such as Tunbridge Wells and East Grinstead, which helps keep survey dates flexible.
Regulations for FD30S fire doors in East Sussex
Because Crowborough is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
What do FD30S fire doors cost in Crowborough?
Our guide price for FD30S fire doors in Crowborough is £800 to £1,250 per single doorset including fitting, ex VAT. Non-standard sizes, veneers, vision panels and access control push towards the top of the range.
If your fire risk assessment lists specific doors, send it with your enquiry and we'll price exactly those openings.
Buildings that need FD30S fire doors
Cross-corridor doors and protected stairways are among the most common settings for FD30S fire doors, in Crowborough as elsewhere.
Brighton and Hove's converted Regency and Victorian houses make it one of England's biggest HMO and flat-conversion markets; Eastbourne and Hastings add hotels and care homes.
