Getting FD30S fire doors fitted in Haywards Heath
Need FD30S fire doors in Haywards Heath? We supply and fit complete certified doorsets across West Sussex, starting with a free measure survey in and around RH16. Every quote lists each door, its rating and the manufacturer's certificate reference, so you know exactly what is going in before anything is ordered.
Whether your building is in central Haywards Heath or on its edges towards Burgess Hill, survey and fitting dates are arranged around your access needs, with occupied buildings worked in planned phases.
Regulations for FD30S fire doors in West Sussex
Because Haywards Heath is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
FD30S fire doors prices in Haywards Heath
Guide prices for FD30S fire doors in Haywards Heath run from about £800 to £1,250 per single doorset, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.
Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.

Common questions in West Sussex
Is the survey in Haywards Heath free?
Yes. We measure and schedule your doors at no cost and send a fixed, itemised quote.
Can you work around tenants or staff in Haywards Heath?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
How quickly can you survey in Haywards Heath?
We arrange surveys around your access needs and, where possible, combine Haywards Heath visits with other work in West Sussex. Tell us your preferred dates when you enquire.
Do smoke seals stop the door closing?
They shouldn't. A properly hung FD30S door closes and latches under its closer. If seals are crushed or the door binds, it needs adjusting — a door that fails to latch is a failed fire door.
