Composite fire doors in Luton: how we work
For landlords, managing agents, businesses and homeowners in Luton, we provide certified composite fire doors with one fixed quote. A free survey comes first, then a door-by-door schedule, then installation to the manufacturer's instructions and a handover pack for your records.
Luton is one of the main towns we cover in Bedfordshire; tell us your dates and we'll arrange a survey.
What the law says in Luton
In Luton, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
Cost of composite fire doors in Bedfordshire
Our guide price for composite fire doors in Luton is £1,200 to £2,200 per door including fitting, ex VAT. Non-standard sizes, veneers, vision panels and access control push towards the top of the range.
Guide prices assume straightforward access; out-of-hours working or difficult access is priced as a separate, visible line.
Where composite fire doors are needed
Flat entrance doors and social housing programmes are among the most common settings for composite fire doors, in Luton as elsewhere.
Bedfordshire mixes Luton's dense housing and town-centre flats with Bedford's Victorian terraces, many now converted to flats and HMOs.
