Our service in Herne Bay
Whether your Herne Bay building needs one replacement fire door or a full programme, we survey, quote each opening with its certificate reference and fit to the manufacturer's instructions.
Herne Bay is about 27 miles from Maidstone; we cover both, along with Whitstable, Canterbury and Faversham.
Fire door rules in Herne Bay
In Herne Bay, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
Kent's Medway towns, county town of Maidstone and coastal resorts bring a mix of flats, HMOs, hotels and converted seaside buildings.
