Our service in Canterbury
Whether your Canterbury building needs one replacement fire door or a full programme, we survey, quote each opening with its certificate reference and fit to the manufacturer's instructions.
We cover CT1 and the surrounding area, including Whitstable. Tell us your postcode and preferred dates and we'll confirm a survey slot.
Which rules apply in Canterbury?
Because Canterbury is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
Kent's Medway towns, county town of Maidstone and coastal resorts bring a mix of flats, HMOs, hotels and converted seaside buildings.
