Fire doors in Thamesmead
Whether your Thamesmead building needs one replacement fire door or a full programme, we survey, quote each opening with its certificate reference and fit to the manufacturer's instructions.
Thamesmead is about 11 miles from London. Wherever your building is in SE28, we arrange survey and fitting dates around access and occupancy.
Which rules apply in Thamesmead?
In Thamesmead, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
London has the UK's largest concentration of purpose-built flats and high-rise residential blocks, so flat entrance doors, communal corridor doors and regulation 10 checks drive much of the demand.

Questions about fire doors in Thamesmead
How quickly can you survey in Thamesmead?
We arrange surveys around your access needs and, where possible, combine Thamesmead visits with other work in Greater London. Tell us your preferred dates when you enquire.
Which rules do fire doors in Thamesmead need to meet?
They are specified to Approved Document B (England) and your fire risk assessment or fire strategy. We confirm the rating of each door at survey.
Is the survey in Thamesmead free?
Yes. We measure and schedule your doors at no cost and send a fixed, itemised quote.
Can you work around tenants or staff in Thamesmead?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
