Our service in Chesterfield
We supply and fit certified fire doorsets in Chesterfield for flats, HMOs, homes, workplaces and public buildings — every rating from FD30 to FD120, quoted door by door after a free measure survey.
Chesterfield is about 23 miles from Derby; we cover both, along with Staveley, Dronfield and Sheffield.
What the law says in Chesterfield
In Chesterfield, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
Derbyshire combines Derby's industrial and city-centre buildings with market towns, mill conversions and rural care settings.

Questions about fire doors in Chesterfield
Can you work around tenants or staff in Chesterfield?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
How quickly can you survey in Chesterfield?
We arrange surveys around your access needs and, where possible, combine Chesterfield visits with other work in Derbyshire. Tell us your preferred dates when you enquire.
Can you fit just one door in Chesterfield?
Yes — from a single door to a full building. Where possible, small jobs are scheduled alongside other visits in Derbyshire.
Will I get certificates for the doors fitted in Chesterfield?
Every doorset is listed in your handover pack with the manufacturer's certificate reference, plus an installation record and photos.
