Fire doors in Alfreton
Fire Rated Doors covers Alfreton and the surrounding Derbyshire area with complete certified doorsets: FD30 and FD30S for flats and corridors, FD60 for compartment walls, steel doors for plant and exits.
Where possible we combine Alfreton surveys with other visits in Derbyshire, such as Ripley and Sutton-in-Ashfield, which helps keep survey dates flexible.
Which rules apply in Alfreton?
In Alfreton, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
Derbyshire combines Derby's industrial and city-centre buildings with market towns, mill conversions and rural care settings.
