Acoustic fire doors in Barnet: how we work
Need acoustic fire doors in Barnet? We supply and fit complete certified doorsets across Greater London, starting with a free measure survey in and around EN5. Every quote lists each door, its rating and the manufacturer's certificate reference, so you know exactly what is going in before anything is ordered.
Whether your building is in central Barnet or on its edges towards Hadley Wood, survey and fitting dates are arranged around your access needs, with occupied buildings worked in planned phases.
What the law says in Barnet
Fire doors in Barnet sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.
Acoustic fire doors prices in Barnet
Our guide price for acoustic fire doors in Barnet is £1,100 to £2,000 per single doorset including fitting, ex VAT. Non-standard sizes, veneers, vision panels and access control push towards the top of the range.
Central and inner London work can cost a little more where parking, loading restrictions or out-of-hours access apply; we show any access costs as a separate line.
Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.
