Acoustic fire doors in Torquay

Acoustic fire doors in Torquay: how we work

Getting acoustic fire doors right in Torquay means choosing a certified doorset for each opening and fitting it exactly as tested. That's the whole service: survey, schedule, certified doorset, careful installation and the paperwork to prove it.

Where possible we combine Torquay surveys with other visits in Devon, such as Paignton and Newton Abbot, which helps keep survey dates flexible.

Fire door rules in Torquay

In Torquay, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.

Guide prices in Torquay

Our guide for acoustic fire doors is £1,100–£2,000 per single doorset fitted, ex VAT. Quotes for Torquay are fixed once we've measured, and include removing and disposing of old doors where they're being replaced.

Each quote covers the certified doorset, standard ironmongery, fitting, removal of the old door and a handover record; anything outside that scope is shown as a separate line before you accept.
