Acoustic fire doors in Exmouth

Getting acoustic fire doors fitted in Exmouth

For landlords, managing agents, businesses and homeowners in Exmouth, we provide acoustic fire doorsets with one fixed quote. A free survey comes first, then a door-by-door schedule, then installation to the manufacturer's instructions and a handover pack for your records.

Where possible we combine Exmouth surveys with other visits in Devon, such as Heavitree and Exeter, which helps keep survey dates flexible.

Fire door rules in Exmouth

Because Exmouth is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.

Guide prices in Exmouth

Expect roughly £1,100–£2,000 per single doorset for acoustic fire doors, fitted, ex VAT. Your Exmouth quote is fixed after survey and itemised door by door.

If your fire risk assessment lists specific doors, send it with your enquiry and we'll price exactly those openings.

Acoustic fire doors in Exmouth: questions

Will I get certificates for the doors fitted in Exmouth?

Every doorset is listed in your handover pack with the manufacturer's certificate reference, plus an installation record and photos.

Can you work around tenants or staff in Exmouth?

Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.

Do you work for landlords and managing agents in Exmouth?

Yes. We can schedule doors flat by flat, send quotes per property and invoice the managing agent or freeholder.

Can existing doors be made acoustic?

Seals can help a little, but significant improvement normally needs an acoustic doorset.
