Our Tynemouth supply and fit service
We fit timber fire doorsets in paint, laminate and veneer in Tynemouth and the rest of Tyne and Wear. The process is simple: we survey and measure each opening, propose a certified doorset for it, and give you a fixed price. Fitting is booked once the doorsets are made, usually with no door left out of action overnight.
Whether your building is in central Tynemouth or on its edges towards North Shields, survey and fitting dates are arranged around your access needs, with occupied buildings worked in planned phases.
Fire door rules in Tynemouth
New and replacement fire doors in Tynemouth are specified under the Building Regulations 2010 and Approved Document B. In workplaces and the common parts of blocks of flats, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 makes the responsible person keep fire doors in working order, and in residential buildings with a storey above 11 metres regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022 adds quarterly checks of communal doors and annual checks of flat entrance doors.
Timber fire doors prices in Tynemouth

How quickly can you survey in Tynemouth?
We arrange surveys around your access needs and, where possible, combine Tynemouth visits with other work in Tyne and Wear. Tell us your preferred dates when you enquire.
Do you cover Tynemouth?
Yes. We survey, supply and fit timber fire doors throughout Tynemouth and the rest of Tyne and Wear, including NE30 and nearby North Shields.
Will I get certificates for the doors fitted in Tynemouth?
Every doorset is listed in your handover pack with the manufacturer's certificate reference, plus an installation record and photos.
