Timber Fire Doorsets for Frome buildings
Fire Rated Doors supplies and fits timber fire doors in Frome, Somerset. Whether it's a single replacement or every door in a block, we start by surveying the openings and end with a handover pack listing each doorset and its certificate reference.
Where possible we combine Frome surveys with other visits in Somerset, such as Trowbridge and Bath, which helps keep survey dates flexible.
Regulations for timber fire doors in Somerset
In Frome, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
What do timber fire doors cost in Frome?
Guide prices for timber fire doors in Frome run from about £750 to £1,600 per single doorset, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.
Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.
