Certified timber fire doors for Oxfordshire
Our Oxfordshire service covers timber fire doors for flats, HMOs, workplaces, schools and homes, including Oxford, Banbury and Abingdon.
Which rules apply in Oxfordshire?
Because Oxfordshire is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
What do timber fire doors cost in Oxfordshire?
Guide prices for timber fire doors in Oxfordshire run from about £750 to £1,600 per single doorset, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.
Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.
