Questions about timber fire doors in Newark-on-Trent
Can you fit just one door in Newark-on-Trent?
Yes — from a single door to a full building. Where possible, small jobs are scheduled alongside other visits in Nottinghamshire.
Will I get certificates for the doors fitted in Newark-on-Trent?
Every doorset is listed in your handover pack with the manufacturer's certificate reference, plus an installation record and photos.
Can you work around tenants or staff in Newark-on-Trent?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
Can a timber fire door be trimmed on site?
Only within the limits the manufacturer's evidence allows, usually a few millimetres. We prefer made-to-measure doorsets so no trimming is needed.
