Timber Fire Doorsets for Grantham buildings
Need timber fire doors in Grantham? We supply and fit complete certified doorsets across Lincolnshire, starting with a free measure survey in and around NG31. Every quote lists each door, its rating and the manufacturer's certificate reference, so you know exactly what is going in before anything is ordered.
Where possible we combine Grantham surveys with other visits in Lincolnshire, such as Newark-on-Trent and Melton Mowbray, which helps keep survey dates flexible.
Fire door rules in Grantham
In Grantham, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
Guide prices in Grantham
Our guide for timber fire doors is £750–£1,600 per single doorset fitted, ex VAT. Quotes for Grantham are fixed once we've measured, and include removing and disposing of old doors where they're being replaced.
The biggest price drivers are leaf size, glazing, finish and ironmongery; upper floors without lifts and restricted parking can also affect fitting cost.
