Certified timber fire doors for Dover
Fire Rated Doors supplies and fits timber fire doors in Dover, Kent. Whether it's a single replacement or every door in a block, we start by surveying the openings and end with a handover pack listing each doorset and its certificate reference.
Dover is about 36 miles from Maidstone; we cover both, along with Folkestone, Deal and Canterbury.
Fire door rules in Dover
Because Dover is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
Guide prices in Dover
Our guide price for timber fire doors in Dover is £750 to £1,600 per single doorset including fitting, ex VAT. Non-standard sizes, veneers, vision panels and access control push towards the top of the range.
We show each door's price separately, so if budget is tight you can phase the work and start with the doors your fire risk assessment prioritises.
