Certified timber fire doors for Wokingham
We fit timber fire doorsets in paint, laminate and veneer in Wokingham and the rest of Berkshire. The process is simple: we survey and measure each opening, propose a certified doorset for it, and give you a fixed price. Fitting is booked once the doorsets are made, usually with no door left out of action overnight.
Wokingham is about 7 miles from Reading. Wherever your building is in RG40, we arrange survey and fitting dates around access and occupancy.
Fire door rules in Wokingham
Because Wokingham is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
What do timber fire doors cost in Wokingham?
Our guide price for timber fire doors in Wokingham is £750 to £1,600 per single doorset including fitting, ex VAT. Non-standard sizes, veneers, vision panels and access control push towards the top of the range.
Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.

Timber fire doors in Wokingham: questions
How quickly can you survey in Wokingham?
We arrange surveys around your access needs and, where possible, combine Wokingham visits with other work in Berkshire. Tell us your preferred dates when you enquire.
Will I get certificates for the doors fitted in Wokingham?
Every doorset is listed in your handover pack with the manufacturer's certificate reference, plus an installation record and photos.
Can you fit just one door in Wokingham?
Yes — from a single door to a full building. Where possible, small jobs are scheduled alongside other visits in Berkshire.
Can a timber fire door be trimmed on site?
