Our Lower Earley supply and fit service
We fit timber fire doorsets in paint, laminate and veneer in Lower Earley and the rest of Berkshire. The process is simple: we survey and measure each opening, propose a certified doorset for it, and give you a fixed price. Fitting is booked once the doorsets are made, usually with no door left out of action overnight.
Whether your building is in central Lower Earley or on its edges towards Reading, survey and fitting dates are arranged around your access needs, with occupied buildings worked in planned phases.
Regulations for timber fire doors in Berkshire
Because Lower Earley is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.

Questions about timber fire doors in Lower Earley
Which rules do timber fire doors in Lower Earley need to meet?
They are specified to Approved Document B (England) and your fire risk assessment or fire strategy. We confirm the rating of each door at survey.
Can you fit just one door in Lower Earley?
Yes — from a single door to a full building. Where possible, small jobs are scheduled alongside other visits in Berkshire.
Do you work for landlords and managing agents in Lower Earley?
Yes. We can schedule doors flat by flat, send quotes per property and invoice the managing agent or freeholder.
Can a timber fire door be trimmed on site?
Only within the limits the manufacturer's evidence allows, usually a few millimetres. We prefer made-to-measure doorsets so no trimming is needed.
