Our Kendal supply and fit service
For landlords, managing agents, businesses and homeowners in Kendal, we provide steel fire doorsets with one fixed quote. A free survey comes first, then a door-by-door schedule, then installation to the manufacturer's instructions and a handover pack for your records.
Our Cumbria coverage includes Kendal and its neighbours Morecambe, Lancaster and Barrow-in-Furness; tell us your postcode and preferred dates and we'll confirm a survey slot.
Fire door rules in Kendal
Because Kendal is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
Cost of steel fire doors in Cumbria
Our guide for steel fire doors is £1,100–£2,600 per single doorset fitted, ex VAT. Quotes for Kendal are fixed once we've measured, and include removing and disposing of old doors where they're being replaced.
Each quote covers the certified doorset, standard ironmongery, fitting, removal of the old door and a handover record; anything outside that scope is shown as a separate line before you accept.
