Stairwell & Escape Route Doors for Grantham buildings
Need stairwell fire doors in Grantham? We supply and fit complete certified doorsets across Lincolnshire, starting with a free measure survey in and around NG31. Every quote lists each door, its rating and the manufacturer's certificate reference, so you know exactly what is going in before anything is ordered.
Whether your building is in central Grantham or on its edges towards Newark-on-Trent, survey and fitting dates are arranged around your access needs, with occupied buildings worked in planned phases.
What the law says in Grantham
In Grantham, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
Cost of stairwell fire doors in Lincolnshire
Our guide price for stairwell fire doors in Grantham is £850 to £1,400 per single doorset including fitting, ex VAT. Non-standard sizes, veneers, vision panels and access control push towards the top of the range.
Each quote covers the certified doorset, standard ironmongery, fitting, removal of the old door and a handover record; anything outside that scope is shown as a separate line before you accept.
