Our Dyfed supply and fit service
We supply and fit stairwell fire doors across Dyfed, including Llanelli and Ammanford. Every job starts with a free measure survey and ends with a handover pack listing each certified doorset fitted.
What the law says in Dyfed
In Dyfed the specification follows Approved Document B as published for Wales, while day-to-day duties to keep fire doors working come from the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. The England-only door-check regulations of 2022 don't apply in Wales, but regular checks remain good practice and are expected by fire risk assessors.
Guide prices in Dyfed
Guide prices for stairwell fire doors in Dyfed run from about £850 to £1,400 per single doorset, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.
We show each door's price separately, so if budget is tight you can phase the work and start with the doors your fire risk assessment prioritises.

Common questions in Dyfed
Can you work around tenants or staff?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
Can you fit just one door?
Yes — from a single door to a full building.
Do you cover the whole of Dyfed?
Yes. We survey, supply and fit stairwell fire doors across Dyfed, including Llanelli and Ammanford.
What signs do stair doors need?
Most need 'Fire door keep shut' on both faces. Automatic doors on hold-open devices need 'Automatic fire door keep clear'.
