Getting stairwell fire doors fitted in Billingham
Getting stairwell fire doors right in Billingham means choosing a certified doorset for each opening and fitting it exactly as tested. That's the whole service: survey, schedule, certified doorset, careful installation and the paperwork to prove it.
Billingham is about 11 miles from Darlington. Wherever your building is in TS23, we arrange survey and fitting dates around access and occupancy.
Which rules apply in Billingham?
In Billingham, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
