Our Berkshire supply and fit service
Our Berkshire service covers stairwell fire doors for flats, HMOs, workplaces, schools and homes, including Reading, Slough and Bracknell.
Fire door rules in Berkshire
Because Berkshire is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
What do stairwell fire doors cost in Berkshire?
Our guide for stairwell fire doors is £850–£1,400 per single doorset fitted, ex VAT. Quotes for Berkshire are fixed once we've measured, and include removing and disposing of old doors where they're being replaced.
We show each door's price separately, so if budget is tight you can phase the work and start with the doors your fire risk assessment prioritises.
