Security fire doors in Harrogate: how we work
Need security fire doors in Harrogate? We supply and fit complete certified doorsets across North Yorkshire, starting with a free measure survey in and around HG2. Every quote lists each door, its rating and the manufacturer's certificate reference, so you know exactly what is going in before anything is ordered.
Where possible we combine Harrogate surveys with other visits in North Yorkshire, such as Yeadon and Guiseley, which helps keep survey dates flexible.
Which rules apply in Harrogate?
In Harrogate, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
What do security fire doors cost in Harrogate?
Our guide for security fire doors is £1,600–£3,500 per single doorset fitted, ex VAT. Quotes for Harrogate are fixed once we've measured, and include removing and disposing of old doors where they're being replaced.
If your fire risk assessment lists specific doors, send it with your enquiry and we'll price exactly those openings.
