In Yeadon, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.

What do security fire doors cost in Yeadon?

Guide prices for security fire doors in Yeadon run from about £1,600 to £3,500 per single doorset, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.

Made-to-measure sizes for older openings, vision panels and upgraded hardware are the usual reasons a door sits towards the top of the range.

Questions about security fire doors in Yeadon

Can you work around tenants or staff in Yeadon?

Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.

Do you cover Yeadon?

Yes. We survey, supply and fit security fire doors throughout Yeadon and the rest of West Yorkshire, including LS19 and nearby Guiseley.

Will I get certificates for the doors fitted in Yeadon?

Every doorset is listed in your handover pack with the manufacturer's certificate reference, plus an installation record and photos.

Does my insurer need a specific rating?

Often for commercial premises. Tell us the grade and we'll propose a doorset certified to it.
