Certified security fire doors for Gillingham
Getting security fire doors right in Gillingham means choosing a certified doorset for each opening and fitting it exactly as tested. That's the whole service: survey, schedule, certified doorset, careful installation and the paperwork to prove it.
Gillingham is about 9 miles from Maidstone; we cover both, along with Chatham, Rochester and Strood.
Regulations for security fire doors in Kent
Because Gillingham is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.
Cost of security fire doors in Kent
Budget around £1,600 to £3,500 per single doorset for security fire doors supplied and fitted in Gillingham, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
Guide prices assume straightforward access; out-of-hours working or difficult access is priced as a separate, visible line.

Yes. We can schedule doors flat by flat, send quotes per property and invoice the managing agent or freeholder.
Do you remove the old doors?

Can any fire door be made secure?
