Which rules apply in Hereford?

Fire doors in Hereford sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.

Cost of security fire doors in Herefordshire

Budget around £1,600 to £3,500 per single doorset for security fire doors supplied and fitted in Hereford, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.

We show each door's price separately, so if budget is tight you can phase the work and start with the doors your fire risk assessment prioritises.
