Security fire doors in Farnworth: how we work
Looking for security fire doors in Farnworth? Our supply and fit service covers BL4 and the surrounding area, including Walkden and Bolton. We quote complete doorsets — leaf, frame, seals, hinges and closer — because that is what the fire certification actually covers.
Where possible we combine Farnworth surveys with other visits in Greater Manchester, such as Walkden and Bolton, which helps keep survey dates flexible.
Which rules apply in Farnworth?
Fire doors in Farnworth sit under English rules: Approved Document B sets what goes in, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 covers keeping doors effective in non-domestic premises and shared parts of residential buildings, and the 2022 regulations require regular door checks in residential buildings taller than 11 metres. Higher-risk buildings — 18 metres or seven storeys with two or more homes — also come under the Building Safety Act 2022.
What do security fire doors cost in Farnworth?
Guide prices for security fire doors in Farnworth run from about £1,600 to £3,500 per single doorset, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.
Guide prices assume straightforward access; out-of-hours working or difficult access is priced as a separate, visible line.
