Security Fire Doors for Putney buildings
Looking for security fire doors in Putney? Our supply and fit service covers SW15 and the surrounding area, including Barnes and Fulham. We quote complete doorsets — leaf, frame, seals, hinges and closer — because that is what the fire certification actually covers.
Whether your building is in central Putney or on its edges towards Barnes, survey and fitting dates are arranged around your access needs, with occupied buildings worked in planned phases.
Regulations for security fire doors in Greater London
In Putney, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
Security fire doors prices in Putney
Our guide price for security fire doors in Putney is £1,600 to £3,500 per single doorset including fitting, ex VAT. Non-standard sizes, veneers, vision panels and access control push towards the top of the range.
Central and inner London work can cost a little more where parking, loading restrictions or out-of-hours access apply; we show any access costs as a separate line.
We show each door's price separately, so if budget is tight you can phase the work and start with the doors your fire risk assessment prioritises.
Buildings that need security fire doors
Wherever they are in Putney, security fire doors are most often specified for flat entrance doors and plant rooms with valuable equipment.
London has the UK's largest concentration of purpose-built flats and high-rise residential blocks, so flat entrance doors, communal corridor doors and regulation 10 checks drive much of the demand.
