What the law says in Dumfries

For non-domestic premises, the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005 and the Fire Safety (Scotland) Regulations 2006 place duties on whoever controls the building.

Guide prices in Dumfries

We show each door's price separately, so if budget is tight you can phase the work and start with the doors your fire risk assessment prioritises.

Questions about security fire doors in Dumfries

Do you cover Dumfries?

Yes. We survey, supply and fit security fire doors throughout Dumfries and the rest of Dumfries & Galloway, including DG1 and nearby Carlisle.

Will I get certificates for the doors fitted in Dumfries?

Every doorset is listed in your handover pack with the manufacturer's certificate reference, plus an installation record and photos.

Can you work around tenants or staff in Dumfries?

Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.

Can any fire door be made secure?

Adding security hardware to a fire door without evidence can void its fire rating. Choose a doorset certified for both.
