Our Dumfries supply and fit service
Getting commercial fire doors right in Dumfries means choosing a certified doorset for each opening and fitting it exactly as tested. That's the whole service: survey, schedule, certified doorset, careful installation and the paperwork to prove it.
We cover Dumfries and the rest of Dumfries & Galloway, with surveys arranged around your building's access and occupancy.
Fire door rules in Dumfries
In Dumfries the building standards come from the Scottish Technical Handbooks rather than Approved Document B, and existing non-domestic premises fall under the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005. We specify doorsets against the Scottish requirements and your fire risk assessment.
Commercial fire doors prices in Dumfries
Guide prices for commercial fire doors in Dumfries run from about £850 to £1,500 per single doorset, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.
The biggest price drivers are leaf size, glazing, finish and ironmongery; upper floors without lifts and restricted parking can also affect fitting cost.
