Whether your building is in central Wallasey or on its edges towards Birkenhead, survey and fitting dates are arranged around your access needs, with occupied buildings worked in planned phases.
What the law says in Wallasey
Because Wallasey is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.

Budget around £550 to £950 per single doorset for riser cupboard fire doors supplied and fitted in Wallasey, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.

Your questions answered
Do you cover Wallasey?
Yes. We survey, supply and fit riser cupboard fire doors throughout Wallasey and the rest of Merseyside, including CH45 and nearby Birkenhead.
Can you work around tenants or staff in Wallasey?
Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.
Will I get certificates for the doors fitted in Wallasey?
Every doorset is listed in your handover pack with the manufacturer's certificate reference, plus an installation record and photos.
Do you fire-stop the riser itself?
Fire-stopping is specialist work outside our doorset scope, but we report gaps we see so you can get them addressed.
