Riser cupboard fire doors in Carshalton: how we work
Fire Rated Doors supplies and fits riser cupboard fire doors in Carshalton, Greater London. Whether it's a single replacement or every door in a block, we start by surveying the openings and end with a handover pack listing each doorset and its certificate reference.
Where possible we combine Carshalton surveys with other visits in Greater London, such as Wallington and Sutton, which helps keep survey dates flexible.
Fire door rules in Carshalton
In Carshalton, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
Riser cupboard fire doors prices in Carshalton
Guide prices for riser cupboard fire doors in Carshalton run from about £550 to £950 per single doorset, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.
Central and inner London work can cost a little more where parking, loading restrictions or out-of-hours access apply; we show any access costs as a separate line.
The biggest price drivers are leaf size, glazing, finish and ironmongery; upper floors without lifts and restricted parking can also affect fitting cost.

They are specified to Approved Document B (England) and your fire risk assessment or fire strategy. We confirm the rating of each door at survey.
What rating does a riser door need?
