Our Newton Abbot supply and fit service
We fit fire-rated riser and service cupboard doors in Newton Abbot and the rest of Devon. The process is simple: we survey and measure each opening, propose a certified doorset for it, and give you a fixed price. Fitting is booked once the doorsets are made, usually with no door left out of action overnight.
Newton Abbot is about 25 miles from Plymouth; we cover both, along with Torquay, Paignton and Exmouth.
Fire door rules in Newton Abbot
In Newton Abbot, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.
What do riser cupboard fire doors cost in Newton Abbot?
Guide prices for riser cupboard fire doors in Newton Abbot run from about £550 to £950 per single doorset, supplied and fitted, ex VAT. Size, glazing, finish and ironmongery move the price, and the survey quote is fixed.
Guide prices assume straightforward access; out-of-hours working or difficult access is priced as a separate, visible line.
