Glazed fire doors in Godalming

Glazed Fire Doors for Godalming buildings

If your fire risk assessment in Godalming has flagged doors to replace, we can schedule, quote and fit glazed fire doors with tested fire glass to match its recommendations. Surveys in GU7 are free and quotes are fixed and itemised.

Godalming is about 9 miles from Woking. Wherever your building is in GU7, we arrange survey and fitting dates around access and occupancy.

Regulations for glazed fire doors in Surrey

Because Godalming is in England, the starting point is Approved Document B for the specification and the Fire Safety Order 2005 for ongoing duties. Blocks with a storey above 11 metres also fall under regulation 10 of the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022: communal fire doors checked at least every three months, flat front doors at least every year.

Cost of glazed fire doors in Surrey

Budget around £950 to £1,700 per single doorset for glazed fire doors supplied and fitted in Godalming, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.

The biggest price drivers are leaf size, glazing, finish and ironmongery; upper floors without lifts and restricted parking can also affect fitting cost.

Buildings that need glazed fire doors

In Godalming, glazed fire doors are typically needed in office and meeting room doors and reception areas.
