Our Godalming supply and fit service
Looking for fire doors for homes in Godalming? Our supply and fit service covers GU7 and the surrounding area, including Guildford and Aldershot. We quote complete doorsets — leaf, frame, seals, hinges and closer — because that is what the fire certification actually covers.
Where possible we combine Godalming surveys with other visits in Surrey, such as Guildford and Aldershot, which helps keep survey dates flexible.
Regulations for fire doors for homes in Surrey
In Godalming, as across England, Approved Document B governs new work and the Fire Safety Order 2005 governs existing premises. Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.

Budget around £650 to £1,000 per door for fire doors for homes supplied and fitted in Godalming, excluding VAT. We price each opening separately so nothing is hidden in a lump sum.
