Note that Approved Document B is removing the BS 476 fire-resistance test references on 2 September 2029, so specifications are moving to EN classifications such as E30 Sa.

Common questions in Somerset

Can you work around tenants or staff in Weston-super-Mare?

Yes. We phase work in occupied buildings and keep escape routes available. Each door is planned to be removed and replaced the same day; if that isn't possible, the opening is made secure and we tell you in advance.

What does a Weston-super-Mare quote include?

Survey, certified doorset, ironmongery, installation, removal of old doors and a handover pack. VAT is added at the standard rate.

Do you work for landlords and managing agents in Weston-super-Mare?

Yes. We can schedule doors flat by flat, send quotes per property and invoice the managing agent or freeholder.

Is wired glass still used?

Rarely now. Modern clear fire-resistant glass gives much better visibility.
